What is up with Air America Radio and Randi Rhoads?  I just read today that she bailed from AAR after being suspended for calling G. Ferrarro and HRClinton whores... I thought AAR and liberal ideals were to let everyone have their own say... right or wrong.  I guess, even though she did it at an event, not on an Air America syndicated show that the Air America peeps are soooo much in the tank for the Hillary-Hosebeast that any personality straying from the script had to be punished.

I am not a Randi Rhoads fan but I have heard her on my local AAR station in rebroadcasts... She is frequently wrong but still entertaining.  Funny how open minded liberals eat their young.

Maybe she'll get some cable TV facetime and further shame AAR.

I had hoped that Tuesday would put an end to the Clinton machine....no such luck but just maybe reveals the power of Rush Limbaugh... Who knows.  Hopefully she will bleed out soon and we can start working on the OoooooBama

Tomorrow is the end of the Clinton legacy…Not Monicagate, Not Kathleengate, Not Gennifergate, Not Paula Jonesgate, not Castle Grandegate, Not White Watergate, Not Madison Savings and Loan-Gate, Not travel officegate, Not Whitehouse coffeegate, Not Lincoln bedroomgate, Not Arlington National Cementarygate, Not Loral Space-Chinagate, Not Ron Browngate, Not Vince Fostergate, Not FBI filegate, Not even theft of national treasures from the White House on leaving nor Pardongate as the most corrupt administration in US history came to a close…. The Clinton legacy is failure.  This primary election has been about the American people, democrats, abandoning in droves the former standard bearers of the party…so much so that a relative newcomer… someone whom is objectively lacking in the experience department is doing well with a message of unspecified hope… and also not being a wholly corrupted scumbag helps…

The stage is now set for the biggest party meltdown in history.  This demoncrat convention will make 1968 in Chicago look like a Dennis the Menace re-run.  As OoooooBama(the democrat that is not a crook) racks up more and more popular support the Hillary-hosebeast will have to marshall her orc like hoards to deny the Barakster the nomination.... and this is going to light the biggest keg of blackpowder you have ever seen.  We are going to watch a Trinity like detonation as Hillary bleeds the people's nominee.

I have been remiss in posting recently.  I have had the fortune to vent mostly on the radio www.woic.com and www.strnetwork.com .  This past Saturday I got one of the greatest presents.  Hillary Got Stomped, Thumped. Crushed, Destroyed, and other positive things.  I have actively encouraged democrats to vote for Barak Obama not because he has a plan that I think will save America…he like Hillary is a pleasant crypto-Marxist but I support Barak Obama as the democrat nominee for president because…. He is not wholly corrupt… unlike the Clinton machine.

My realization that Hillary would be a nightmare…again.. was when, recently, Lanny Davis came peering into my den from some talking head show… and for me the eight years of the Clinton scummy nightmare all came back.  Lanny Davis is the chief Clinton apologist and was everywhere in the 1990s because he had to be.  From the selling nights in the Lincoln bedroom of the Whitehouse to selling plots in Arlington National Cemetery every bit of the executive branch was co-opted into the Clinton crony corrupt purposes machine.  Barak Obama is wrong, in my opinion, but no one yet has accused Obama of any corruption.  If he can work within that Daly machine of Chicago and survive without a scandal Barak is the All-American-Eagle-Scout like herald of morality and virtue…especially when standing next to Bill ’The Boy President’ and his wife.

 

My real hope is the Barak Obama declines Hillary’s invitation to meet in Fort Marcy Park and becomes the democrat nominee.  Barak is talented, smart, scandal free, a messianic like positive speaker, and Black.  For the first time you can write a litany of positive attributes for a Black Democrat Presidential Hopeful without starting out that he is Black or a Reverend.  Barak is good for America but even better for the democrat party by edging the Clintons back into the background… where they belong.

 

When the United States nominates a man like Barak Obama it begs the question of is this the end of race-baiting poverty pimps in the leadership of the Democrats?  I hope so.

A few hours left until its CHRISTmas day. I have my two little girls very much excited about presents. We have been slowly giving Santa Claus the boot by reversing the trend and marginalizing HIM. We have been pushing that Santa only brings one gift per person. My wife and I have agreed on a lot of these things... where we try and escape some of the corruption of the world…where we intentionally and principley separate our family from the world. Sometimes it works…sometimes we capitulate.

My 3 year old is now very much into Santa Claus…The popular culture is infectious. Maybe on a farm…. In the woods… with a two holer Appalachian toilet… can a family isolate and preserve to general goodness of their kids. Give me access to HS internet and programmes like Top Gear… and maybe I could do it. Throw in western flush toilets and bingo… I could make the jump to the country.

If we could only work from the woods…We could be better parents in a better place or maybe by this time next year I’ll report that we retired the jolly old elf and all of his horned beastly evilness.

Part of my life is on the radio. We broadcast from a terrestrial AM station WOIC 1230 AM in Columbia, South Carolina and we also simulcast our broadcasts from www.strnetwork.com Anytime one of our network shows is on the internet simulcast is also on. I am next on Saturday December 8^th from 10:00am-1:00pm Eastern United States(New York) time. All have to do to hear us is go to the website and click on the red “on air” button. It should spawn the stream. We have a number of listeners all over the world especially from the Noon-1:00pm slot. This is the first I have ever posted the radio stuff on livejournal. Enjoy.

This weekend the Oprah is coming to Columbia South Carolina to campaign for Barak Obama.  I am excited!  The event has already been moved from our largest indoor arena to Columbia’s largest outdoor arena.  Barak and the Oprah will be at Williams-Brice Stadium… the usual home to the USC Shamecocks.  This will be a blast.

 

I am inches away from getting press credentials and going to the event.  Why is this such a big deal? Well… I am sick of the Clinton machine.  I want the Clintons locked into a black crystal thingy and shot into outer space… with no hope of Superman slinging atomic weapons and securing the Clinton release… did I just say Clinton Release…anyway.. and with the most corrupt political family out of influence the democrats can wise up and run real candidates and the field of republican candidates will have to get better too.

 

I wish Barak Obama the best… especially this primary.  I want him to hang a millstone around the neck of the Clinton machine.  I want him to give democrats a candidate that is not wholly corrupt.  Ultimately I don’t want him to win but if he is the chock or the wrench that halts the Clinton machine he will be doing the work that so many have prayed for.

 

I am a republican… and I have been for a long while.  I am now much more libertarian than I was but I do want the democrats to be a strong party… Not just a total nutjob party.  Give me a nation where Kennedy Democrats battle Goldwater Republicans and we will be much better for the fight.  As long as good people, Ron Paul, can run for president, as one of the traditionally in power parties, this two party monopoly might be survivable but if the hacks further squelch the liberty minded we will need to abandon the two party rubric. 

 

I am not in favor of coalition governments and a prime minister type of leadership but I think we are on the brink of the two oligarchy parties fading away.  If it is socialist party 1 vs. socialist party 2 then I do not want to play anymore…I’ll vote and support revolutionary party beta….I am almost there now… and if Ron Paul wasn’t a candidate I would be there already.

Short Blog:  I just read this morning that Kansas democrat women, elected officials, are distancing themselves from Hillary Clinton.  This was in the Old York Times so I wonder if it is a push story… Like a push poll… which is designed to generate an outcome more than actually report on the story.  I am somewhat of a political junkie and I love extending the political season for my own amusement but for the nation… this constant state of campaign… like that constant, state of immeasurable victory, war is taxing(literally and figuratively)

I am all for democrats distancing themselves from Mrs. Bill Clinton but this seems really really really premature.  How about have a nominee… and then you can distance yourself from that hideous hosebeast…BTW I think the nominee is still going to be ManBearPig Prince Albert Gore.

Ron Paul Campaign and Distortions

I just watched a video on YouTube that had a black box at the bottom of some CNN and FOXNews clips and in the black box the author of the video offered commentary. Basically the video contained that sonic disco slam of Ron Paul talking about the US Government’s foreign policy being one of the root causes of the attack on America by Al-Queda on 9/11

The reason this is important to me as, a lot of people, I don’t think I have been paying as close attention to our media politics as I should have. I have written off Wolfy Blitzkrieg many years ago but I liked John Gibson and Michelle Malkin(I even have her weblog linked from mine). While I watched the Malkin/Gibson hit piece I was disgusted.

This isn’t going to be a Ron Paul cheerleading blog entry but this is an example of our corrupted media complex. The Blitzer/Malkin/Gibson behavior is inexcusable. I understand that as Americans that we live in a mediated political reality. I understand that the truth is rarely evident by news reports but these weasels are creating a theme that was not evident from Mr. Paul’s comments. They created the impression, out of whole cloth, that Ron Paul is part of the 9/11 conspiracy theorists; That Ron Paul was like the colander wearing/black helicopter crowd. They were actively trying to get Ron Paul uninvited from any other debates. These people knew what they were doing and these people deserve to be punished.

I only hope that Ron Paul can make them eat their hats. George Stuffingenvelopes Stephanopolis needs to be b*tchslapped by reality. We as Americans deserve better from our news media.

With garbage themes and distortions the few of us that vote are being actively mislead by the media… and I thought the Richard Jewell thing was an aberration. At least when the media tried to lynch Richard Jewell they had the corrupt US Justice Department of Janet Reno backchanneling them the information. There is no excuse for this now. Thank God, really, for the Internet.

For me watching this little video became a ‘now you know’ event. Now I know that the media cannot be trusted to be even somewhat accurate. Now I know that the truth is radically different from their desired orchestrated deception. Now I know that even the graphics departments are in on it. Now I know that even cable television is old media.

During the impeachment of the boy president I was fully on the side of the house managers and was thoroughly disappointed when the ‘weasels’ in the upper chamber did not commit. I was most seriously disturbed about the multiple allegations of rape and then outraged when I realized that the president opened himself and our country up to blackmail because of his persistent crimes.

Now the joke portion: Things Hillary has taught me about President William Jefferson Blythe Clinton XIV:

1. He is prettier than she is

2. He has more integrity than she has

3. He is more honest than she is

Yesterday I talked to a Washington insider person about the recent allegations of Hill being romantically involved with her stunning Arab girly girly travelling chief of staff. During the conversation I was reminded about a Barney Frank (D-Pink-Ma) quote approximated here “Hillary is uniquely qualified on gay and lesbian issues”. My Washington source, usually reliable, said that it is very likely she is bisexual. I responded/joked that maybe this would help her by expanding her voting base and my friend seriously knocked my presumption down stating that “This is just more deception from the Clintons” and ‘These people can’t even be trusted with basic issues of their own identity” I thought only I still remembered the myriad of Clinton Crimes.

Jokes aside… this new rumor(remember rumors tend to be true with the Clintons) makes Hillary uniquely unqualified to deal with the Arab world which, I believe, is the US’s major foreign policy problem area…..and you thought GdubyaBush messed things up…

If Hillary is the nominee…..wait for the Scandal-O-Rama…I still believe that the nominee for the Democrats will be Nobel Laureate Prince Albert Gore. I predict that the dailyKos kids and the George Soros surrogates are going to make the Donkey Convention soooo out of control that Al Gore will have to step in to save the party. Tipper is already stocking up on Prozac.

Some of the things I am thankful for:  This has the possibility of being way too sappy but there are so much each of us have to be thankful for and it might be a great exercise to write down all of the things you are thankful for.  In reasonably desperate times I have done this with blessings.  When I felt particularly down I would enumerate all of the good things in my life.  Thankfully… the Blessings list has always been more abundant than the negatives list.

The big things I am thankful for:  I am most thankful for my family… not the family I was born into… they are good but my family.  The one that I am the head of.  The one I started with my wife.  The one that now includes two little girls out in the world and another baby to arrive sometime in April.  We are attached parents and my whole understanding of self has changed sine my wife and babies came along.

I used to think that I lead a wholly active life and that I was fully fulfilled but compared to my life, now, I was completely hollow.

The second big thing I am thankful for is our life within our church.  Never before… even after all of the other churches I have been a part of.. Have I felt so welcome and at home.

I can go into specifics and enumerate the whole list but that might be tedious for you and for me.  Generally all the things I did before I met my wife seem soooo long ago and so unimportant.  My life now is consumed with others.  All the other people I care about and all the other people that are part of my sphere.  Starting with my family…expanding to friends… and then the largest expansion… my patients and my growing practice.  Daily I meet, talk to, and treat the greatest people I have ever known.

Life is good.  Happy Thanksgiving

This may or may not be that much of a scandal depending on your point of reference.  My good wife went to High School and is friends with one of the prime actors in this mess and I have met her a few times and she is a nice person.  This is where the lessening of the scandal comes in. 

This is not really a scandal based on my understanding of government…but you must first accept my premise of discretion.  What I believe is that from a traffic stop on the side of the road, to a case before magistrate, to a case before the Sanhedrin that the discretion of the controlling authority makes all the difference.  At every level the whole issue can go away based on the discretion of the controlling individual.

Governments have to be corrupt because they are a creation of man.  Somehow the judiciary has escaped a lot of the mud thrown at legislatures and the executive branch but the judiciary is equally flawed as a creation of man.  We can not expect any institution to be better than the people running it.

Now the ‘of course’ course.  Of course well connected people are going to have a different experience than the less connected.  Of course friendships from 30 years ago will play a role in someone’s decision.  Of course a friend would love to help you out of a jam. Of course the standards of a flawed, by design, organization are fluid.  Of course the Judiciary is as corruptible as any other branch of government. And…Of course you can not expect there not to be a difference between the elite and  the not so elite…and more importantly you can not expect there not to be a difference in how the elite are treated versus the regular guy and gal.

A story:  When this story first broke I was discussing the issue with a friend that has a JD but does not practice law.  He did some sorta internship in a border state’s Attorney Generals office.  Now my friend is nothing if not dynamic.  In a social setting the Atty General of the State asked him to come to work for him.  This was an excellent opportunity and my buddy replied that he had not passed the BAR exam in this state.  The Atty General replied ‘Don’t worry about it’

At this point in the conversation I said ‘Big deal’  he just had confidence that you could pass the BAR but my buddy explained the context of the statement and translated the meaning to “Don’t worry about it. I’ll take care of it”  which is a different understanding…. Entirely. But in my experience that right call from the correct person can make all the difference.  As a lowly bureaucrat I would make calls from my elected officials personal office just to get things done…..S.C. state government has caller ID…ya know…People that were hard for me to get to… answered their phone on the 3^rd ring when the right message flashed across their display.

Back to the SC Bar exam.  This type of thing is should be expected and it is a credit to some integrity that you don’t hear about this type of influence every year….but frequently discretion moves silently. I just hope that the best relationship between the people(us) and the government(them) can be established and that the flawed agents of government will have their power tempered with our(us) understanding that government’s legitimacy is not absolute and neither is their power.

or is the BBC America programming at least 150% better than most of the US major network and cable programming?  I rarely get to watch much of the idiot box but I was able to watch the complete episode of Top Gear last night.  Top Gear is top notch.... at least that is what I believe... but it might also be my anglophilia.

Democrats can do better.  I am probably the last person that should be giving the democrats advice but their front runner whom the main stream media has intimated as the smartest woman in America… is rarely, as I believe, the smartest woman in the room.

If the democrats want the presidency maybe they should run a campaign like a successful democrat president… someone like JFK.  Give me a war hero, anti-communist, tax cutting, and American renaissance type democrat and my vote is for sale.  Find a democrat that will control our borders, lower our taxes, protect our nation and you can have my vote… I’ll even multiply my vote by exerting every bit of influence I have over others.

Alas, this is not possible for the modern democrat.  Pandering to all the groups feeding at teet and trough of the federal government is de rigueur. Busing to the polls those drafting off of the rest of us is what we can expect.  Hillary has demonstrated in the last two weeks that she doesn’t have the stones to be president.  Even calling on Bill Clinton to go after Tim Russert for his question… If you can’t answer a Russert question then you should not even run.  Maybe Russert dropped his script or refused the questions Clinton staffers provided…With the Clinton Machine you never know.  Russert needs to beware Ft. Marcy Park.  Even I hate to say this… but Joe Biden looks and acts more presidential than Mrs. Bill Clinton.  Maybe not so smart….she, so long, at the feet of a political mastermind didn’t seem to learn much. 

I used to feel sorry for Mrs. Bill Clinton but then I came to the conclusion that she was in on it.  I saw she wasn’t abused…that was the deal she made. I am tired of them.  I don’t know which candidates I am going to vote for… but it will not be another Bush or Clinton…Ever

Question:  What does signing up with selective service do?

 Basically Dangerous Doug and I have had this discussion on the radio but no one has really given us a good answer.  Here is the question again.. differently:  What rights do you have before you sign up with the US selective service and what rights do you have after the signing?  What rights/privileges are you giving up?  Is an individual enhanced or diminished by having a draft card?

 Feel free to comment on this one.  I am very much interested in your answer.

Pat Robertson endorses the Gargoyle;  Does this matter to any voter?  Would anyone vote for Giuliani because Pat Robertson gave him the nod?  Would anyone who likes Pat Robertson not look into the Gargoyle’s Abortion Funding, Gun Grabbing, Democrat Supporting History?

What political capitol did Robertson just spend? Is this the last gasp of the irrelavant?

I thought, previously, that Pat Robertson ran a politically masterful organization.  I have been in awe of some of the things Mr. Robertson has done through CBN, The Family Channel, The 700 Club, the Christian Coalition, and etc.  Is this the best deal he could get…. And what did he get in return????

Who knows what is happening this early in the election cycle… Bob Jones the XIV endorses the Mannequin… I do wonder if he calls Romney a cultist to his face…. Or maybe he has been watching ‘Big Love’ on the HBO and knows after running the numbers that 'living the principle' could really assist the exodus project takeover of lil ole South Carolina.  Strange.. Who Knows..

You probably guessed that this was going to be another screed about Ron Paul but please continue reading. 

 

What we have here is a failure of the conventional wisdom.  Ron Paul is supposed to be some NORML Kook with his primary support the colander wearing aluminum foil hat folks but that is not the case.  Everything Ron Paul is doing seems to be hyper-rational.. That is the surprise and reading the Drudge Report this morning I was completely surprised by a story from the LA Times claiming that Ron Paul raised more than 4 million dollars in one day.

 

One reason someone like Ross Perot is so interesting and politically scary is that this type can commit up front, with just his signature, 40 million dollars to run for president.  When someone like Ron Paul shows up highly committed to demonstrable principle you expect him not to get much traction.  The pros, in the business of professional politics, don’t support a Paul type because there is no influence peddling to be gained in a Paul campaign and the media does not forget or let it slip too far from their conscious mind which candidate has the cash on hand to purchase ads.  You expect people like the Gargoyle and Mannequin to leverage their future influence to raid the pocket of the big donors;  and then spend spend spend on paid media  These people are the top tier….but if someone stands on principles and on ideas much bigger than himself… and this principled approach starts to get traction with individuals… and these individuals are sooooo invested that they contribute $100 to the campaign… then, I think, we have an interesting scenario.

 

One thing that I do find notable is that almost everyone has a ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’ ideal.  This might be the best hope for America because it makes us idealistic about our political system.  This is a story that we or at least I want to believe.  I want to believe that one man can make a difference.  I don’t want to acknowledge everyday that government is a big machine that gobbles up and crushes freedoms and liberties.  I want to believe;  Like Fox Moulder from the x-files… I want to believe that this artifice of man this government is not wholly bad… dare I say... not wholly evil.

 

I like that Ron Paul wants to put the overreaching demon back in the bottle.  I love that Ron Paul wants to re-yoke this government to the constitution.  I love that Ron Paul explains monetary policy in the actual and not the wholly abstract.  I love freedom and I like Ron Paul.  I love that the ideas are bigger than the man and that he without equivocation acknowledges it.  This creep to socialism needs to be stopped… before the brandishing of the bayonets and before the tree of liberty cries out to be fed again.
